The Stillwater Lodge features six distinctive rooms, each with a different decor and theme, all with native lodge pole beds, antiques and fine paintings and prints. Free local phone calls and cable TV. The Lodge plays host to people seeking a variety of Montana adventures and assists with arrangements for fly fishing, backpacking, horse riding and river rafting. In winter, the Lodge's guests enjoy miles of cross country skiing trails and for downhill powder fans, Red Lodge Ski Resort is only a half hour away. For the less adventuresome there are many fine dining establishments, antique, gift and art shops and legendary watering holes within minutes of the Lodge. The fishing is superb on the nearby rivers and pristine mountain lakes, Lightening Lake is one of only two in the U.S. where rare golden trout are special prey to anglers.
