Montana Woolen Shop is much more than a store, it is a unique experience. It is modeled after the wool shops of Scotland where the products are used to decorate the interior. Fine woolens decorate every nook and cranny.
The shop has operated since 1975 as a mill sales room. This is a true outlet representing many mills. All products are of a quality not found in discount stores yet have prices not found in retail stores. Everything is 20 to 70% below retail.
The century old quality woolen lines of Filson and Woolrich are featured. Over a thousand sweaters from around the world are on display. Several hundred bolts of wool fabric are shown. Blankets and robes include Hudson Bay and the Faribo Native American collections. Sheepskin products include coats, slippers, hats and mittens.
One room is decorated with collector and museum quality Navajo rugs from the turn of the century to modern pieces of art. Over 100 Navajo rugs of all sizes are available, the largest collection in Montana.

Directions: The Montana Woolen Shop is easy to reach from I-90. Take exit 305 (19th Avenue) South for 2.5 miles to Main Street (6th stop light). Turn right on Main Street (South US 191) for 1 mile (through 2 stop lights). The Montana Woolen Shop is on the right, just past Gallatin Valley Mall.
