Fishing is fair for 3.5 miles up Indian Creek along Highway 93. It is also fair from US Highway 93 downstream 2 miles to the Tobacco River. This segment of the stream is all private land except for the upper .5 mile. Permission form the landowners should be obtained prior to fishing. Rainbow, cutthroat, and eastern brook trout are located in the lower elevations. Access along the creek is good with only some brush and hardwoods. Directions: Follow US Highway 93 north for 3 miles past Eureka. The creek will cross the highway at this point. To reach the upper end of the creek, continue driving for another mile to Burma Road. Turn right on Burma Road and travel east for 2.5 miles prior to paralleling the creek. Indian Creek Kootenai National Forest, Fortine, MT 59918
