Fished primarily by boat, this reservoir was once an excellent fishing area for rainbow, cutthroat, brook and brown trout, and largemouth bass. Unfortunately, it is being taken over by trash fish, and is fished mostly by locals who know the water. A boat ramp is located at North Shore campground, 3 miles west of Trout Creek. Directions: Easily accessible along its north side by Highway 200, and by county roads to the south. Noxon Reservoir Kootenai National Forest, Trout Creek, MT 59874
