The Blackfoot Inn, open all year, is set in the middle of a 1890's frontier town, Ovando, which is right on the Lewis & Clark Trail. A Lewis & Clark Interpretive panel , provided by the U.S.F.S., is in our town square. We can boast of a large variety of activities such as floating and/or fishing the famous Blackfoot River or the many contributing rivers, streams and lakes close at hand. Some other outdoor activities are bicycling, bird hunting, bird watching, boating, camping, canoeing, dancing, great fly fishing, game hunting, horseback riding, horseshoes, kayaking, nature, photography, swimming, hiking trails, wildlife viewing, wind surfing, plus a fun time in winter with hundreds of miles of snowmobiling, cross country skiing, and don't forget ice fishing and only a short distance from the Bob Marshall Wilderness. Directions: Blackfoot Inn is located just off Highway 200, mile marker 43, between Missoula and Great Falls; in the beautiful Blackfoot Valley. The Blackfoot Inn joins Ovando's Town Square along with the Brand Bar Museum and Blackfoot Angler. Blackfoot Inn 406 Pine Street West, Ovando, MT 59854
