The brick three-story hotel was started in 1908 and the third floor was completed in 1917. The hotel was the gathering place for local ranchers and farmers. Also, salesman would get off the train, rent a room, display and sell their wares to local businesses. The hotel which is listed on the National Historic Resister has two old ghost signs, one on the west end and one on the north wall. Seven rooms on the second floor and a meeting room and lobby on the first floor were renovated in 1997. Come stay, enjoy breakfasts featuring local wild berries jellies, and experience the past with modern conveniences.
