Powder River Congregational UCC was established in 1920; it is the oldest church in Broadus. The present church building was constructed in 1955. We are the largest geographical parish in the United Church of Christ; at one time the church owned an airplane so that the pastor could visit ranches and conduct services in outlying communities.
Our Sunday services began at 11:00am in the winter and 9:30am in the summer. Sunday school is at 11:00am. Communion is served the first Sunday of every month. Fellowship hour is immediately following the worship service. Choir, bible study, and youth fellowship are other activities of our church. We are a friendly congregation!
Directions: Powder River Congregational UCC is located one block north of Hwy 212. Turn north by the Tastee Freeze. On the corner of Wilson and Jensen.
