Medicine Bow Ranch offers the ultimate in lodging and fishing on a 55 acre ranch located just 3 miles north of Big Timber, Montana. A new and modern home with one bedroom with king size bed and television, and a second bedroom available with rustic lodge-pole pine bunks. One large private bath with shower and tub. A game room is available for your use with a pool table, Ping-Pong and checker/carom tables. Horseshoes are available and we also board horses.

Your private entrance on the garden level leads directly to the Yellowstone River or Otter Creek, with breath-taking views from all sides of the Crazy Mountains and the Beartooth Mountain Ranges. A boat ramp is adjacent to the property. Abundant wildlife include deer, antelope, golden and bald eagle, many varieties of waterfowl, otters and Hungarian Partridge.

Enjoy a hearty family-style breakfast served in the main house, or a continental style served in your room or outside on the patio. A freezer/refrigerator is available, and there is coffee service in your room.

Points of interest in town include elegant dining at the Grand Hotel, several restaurants, bowling, tennis, swimming pool, horse-back riding, a superb golf course, art galleries, the Crazy Mountain Museum, antique shops and movie theater. There are many hiking trails and camping spots, including 2 beautiful waterfall sites within a half hour to an hours drive. You may also enjoy swimming and tubing on the Yellowstone. Some of the many attractions nearby are Yellowstone National Park, the Lewis and Clark Caverns, Custer Battlefield, 'Wild Bill' Cody Museum, a summer water-slide, ski resorts, and many nearby summer rodeos.

Directions: Medicine Bow Ranch is located off Highway I-90 halfway between Bozeman and Billings, in the town of Big Timber, Montana. Just 3 miles from town, take Highway 191 toward Harlowton turning right at Otter Creek fishing access immediately after crossing the Yellowstone River. The ranch is 1.5 miles east of 191 right beside the fishing access.
