MSU-Northern has a primary mission of providing accessible university programs designed to prepare teachers and technical experts in fields ranging from business and nursing to diesel and electronics engineering technology. Other key niche programs include biology with a paleontology emphasis and growing graduate program offerings. A significant number of our graduates are employed within the first year in the labor market.
