The new MCT Center for the Performing Arts celebrated its Grand Opening in October of 1998. It is home to the Internationally-renowned Missoula Children's Theatre, which takes original, musical theatre productions on the road to hundreds of communities each year around the world. Local children from Idaho to Florida or Japan are the stars when 'Missoula' comes to town. Each summer, hundreds of children from around the US and beyond come to MCT Performing Arts Camps. Missoula Children's Theatre also has year-round opportunities for Missoula-area youth to be on stage through the performing arts classes and day camps. MCT Community Theatre offers a full-season of high-quality, family entertainment between October and June, featuring local talent and occasional guest artists. With a wide-variety of audience favorites such as hysterical 'Noises Off', or treasured musicals like 'Fiddler on the Roof', MCT audiences keep coming back for more and more! Season subscriptions are available offering preferred seating and ticket discounts to patrons. Other MCT offerings include 'Bits & Pieces', a cabaret-style group of performers who are ready when you are!
