Mountain Meadows Guest Ranch is a place where time stands still. Nestled in the midst of hundreds of acres of rolling meadows, lush forests, small ponds and bubbling streams, Mountain Meadows Guest Ranch is Big Sky's newest, most exclusive guest ranch. Accommodating approximately 28 guests in two log cabins and a 10,000 square foot log lodge, the ranch is located in the heart of Big Sky country. There are seven luxurious guest rooms each with its own balcony, as well as a spacious restaurant with fabulous views, a lounge area with a huge fireplace, and the Thirsty Moose Bar. The lodge is complete with all the necessary amenities such as a sauna and outdoor jacuzzi. We have a small pool for children, as well as a playground. There isn't a place on the ranch where there aren't unbeatable, spectacular views! This is truly the home of Big Sky's best views!
Family-owned and operated, it is the goal of the Severn Family to make each guest's stay as fun-filled, relaxing and memorable as possible. Mountain Meadows Guest Ranch offers a wide array of activities in which to participate. In the summer there is horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, a fly-fishing clinic, white-water rafting, swimming, golf and tennis. At night there are also memorable Montana activities such as campfires and cowboy poetry, hayrides and BBQs. In the winter there is cross-country skiing on Mountain Meadows' 30 kilometers of private, groomed trails, downhill skiing at nearby Big Sky Resort, snowshoeing, sledding and tobogganing and sleigh rides. Guests choose which activities and how many in which to partake. Some choose just to curl up by the fireplace with a book! Whatever the season, there is always something fun to do at Mountain Meadows! Massage and spa services also available.
Meals are special events at the ranch! The menu is designed to reflect our Montana lifestyle. All meals are prepared with the utmost care by our locally famous gourmet chef, who uses only the best and freshest ingredients. From hearty beef medallions with a green, peppercorn sauce to chicken baked with a pesto sauce to fresh rainbow trout and hearty vegetarian entrees, guests will never go hungry at Mountain Meadows! Desserts are an unforgettable ending to fun-filled days at the ranch.
Mountain Meadows is an all-inclusive guest ranch. Once guests arrive there is no need to reach for a wallet. All activities, meals, lodging and special events are included in the price (with the exception of alcoholic beverages and tax). There is also another pricing package available which includes meals and lodging, but no activities, for those choosing to do their own thing during the day. Directions: Mountain Meadows Guest Ranch is located off Highway 191, just 45 miles south of Bozeman and 18 miles north of Yellowstone National Park. Just three miles south of the Big Sky entrance, the lodge is 7 miles up scenic Beaver Creek Road where beautiful Lone Mountain comes into view, nestled among rolling meadows, trees, ponds, and streams.
