Big Mountain Resort in Whitefish offers 78 marked runs, 2,500 vertical feet, over 335 inches average snowfall and unlimited open bowl and gladed powder skiing. The resort area encompasses more than 3,000 acres. Located at the base of the resort is a 16 kilometer Nordic Center, professionally designed and maintained with a 14 foot wide skating lane and a track set lane. Lodging space is available for 1,500 skiers in the Village next to the lifts and for over 2,000 just eight miles away in the ski town Whitefish. Big Mountain can easily handle groups year round.
