Wankan Tanka Lodge is one of a limited number of exclusive home sites on the 2,000 acre Sun West Ranch. 1,600 acres of the ranch is common area; it is left wild with a few dirt roads, a stocked trout pond and three miles of Madison River stream bank for guests to enjoy. The ranch managers still run some cattle on the property, giving it a true Montana ranch feeling, but with such a large piece of property it is essentially a wildlife preserve. You will likely see eagles, deer, elk, coyotes and lots of other interesting wildlife on the ranch. From the home you have a great view of the beautiful open country on the ranch, the Madison River and to the mountains beyond, some of which are on the border of Yellowstone National Park. It's truly a magical spot!
Wankan Tanka Lodge has three bedrooms and two baths. The master bedroom has a king size bed, a sitting area, a private deck with incredible views, and a private bath with double vanity and stall shower. Other amenities of the master suite are the vaulted ceiling, huge windows with views to the river and mountains, and a TV with satellite access. The other bedrooms each have two twin beds and share a bath with double vanity and tub with shower.
There are three decks off the front of the house. One is the entryway, one is off the living room and the other is off the master bedroom. In the back there is a nice patio with Adirondack chairs, gas barbecue grill and a hot tub.

Directions: Wankan Tanka Lodge is located on Sun West Ranch, about halfway between Ennis and West Yellowstone. The Bozeman Airport is one hour from the home.
