This newer, four bedroom home is located on 20 acres in a sunny, hillside location right near the entrance to Gallatin Canyon. It offers pastoral mountain views of the Gallatin Valley and the Spanish Peaks from the house and deck. Directly across the valley, most of the land in sight belongs to Ted Turner's Flying D Ranch. With the private location, close to the river, yet not far from town, it's a wonderful spot for a retreat for family and/or friends. There are four bedrooms. On the main floor is one bedroom with a queen bed. Upstairs is a bedroom with a queen bed, full bath, and its own private deck. On the lower level are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and another with two twin beds. In addition, there is a daybed available in the living room in case an extra visitor shows up. The large, open living room has glass doors to the front deck. There is a fabulous rock fireplace and very comfortable, overstuffed furniture for relaxing. Other furnishing include a mix of rustic, wrought iron pieces and funky hand-painted tables and benches done by the owner. There is a second family room on the lower level, with more space for relaxing, with a television, VCR and stereo, as well as a gas-burning 'wood-stove'.
