Privately owned campground, located on Blackfeet Reservation, on the Lewis & Clark Trail. Surrounded by cottonwood trees and willows along the Cut Bank River. In green meadows filled with wild flowers watch the deer at play, view the many different kinds of birds in their natural surroundings. Hike the last 2 and 1/2 miles of Meriwether Lewis's farthest northern route ending at Camp Disappointment.Large 40X80 drive through with 30 & 50 amp hookups, or 36 feet by 40 feet campsites with 20 & 30 amp hookups. Each with open pit fireplaces. Central non portable water fill, RV dump site. Small camp store with snacks, espresso & modem hook-up. Some local crafts and souvenirs. Spacious deck to enjoy the scenery and snack. Enjoy fishing, swimming or rafting on the river. Play horse shoes, volley ball or games with the children. Check in and see for those special days when local talent will tell tales and for those historical minded people an escort will take you to Camp Disappointment. Full time camp host.
Directions: Meriwether Meadows Campground is located on Highway 2 north on 444 Delbonita Port of Entry or Meriwether Road. 15 miles east of Browning, 19 miles west of Cut Bank, 3.7 miles north on 444. 25 miles south of Delbonita Port of Entry.
