This two bedroom, one bath home is located in a very private setting on a 14,000 acre working ranch just north of the charming town of Wisdom, Montana. The remote location bordering US Forest Service land has plentiful wildlife, including elk, moose and pronghorn antelope. There is a nice old barn, and some horse corrals near the house. On the property, there are five stream drainages, including Thompson Creek which has pretty good fishing. It's a ten minute drive from the house to the Forest Service boundary at Pintlar Falls trailhead. There are gorgeous views of the Big Hole Valley and surrounding mountains from the property, and 14,000 acres to explore. From the home, there are hikes to various mountain lakes in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. The main bedroom has a queen bed with a beautiful log frame, and the second bedroom is set up with two twin beds. One full bathroom is shared between the two bedrooms. The home also has very nice quality linens--sleep well! There are wood floors throughout most of the house, including the living room. The furniture is simple, yet tasteful and is set up nicely for small group gatherings. There is a television and VCR at the home, as well as a small collection of movies. There is fishing on the Big Hole River and Georgetown Lake, hiking in the Beaverhead and Bitterroot Mountains, mountain biking, visiting nearby ghost towns. Big Hole National Battlefield and Bannack State Park, one of Montana's best preserved ghost towns, are also nearby. There is so much to do!
