A truly unique getaway! This two bedroom cabin is just a few years old, yet looks like a historic cabin from the Old West. Not a detail was overlooked in the design, furnishings and amenities. A beautiful river rock fireplace, well designed kitchen, outdoor shower and separate studio guest cabin are just a few of the extra details. The cabin is about 1400 square feet, all on one level plus a small loft with a futon for extra sleeping space.
There is one master bedroom, with a very comfy queen size bed and big windows opening to the meadow and trees. The master bath has entrances from the master bedroom and also from the hallway to the living area. The bathroom has beautiful, hand made ceramic tiles which add a nice touch. The outside shower is located off the master bedroom on the back deck. The second sleeping area is in a small loft over the den - it has a ladder up to a platform loft which has a comfortable queen size futon. A skylight over the loft provides wonderful star gazing opportunities. There is also a small pullout sofa in the den. There is also a small pullout sofa in the den. There is a second full bath off the den with a beautifully tiled stall shower.
The dinning room table will seat up to six people comfortable, and is open to the living room. A grand moss rock fireplace is the focal point of the living room. There is a television, VCR, and a nice stereo system. Wonderfully unique artwork, lamps and furniture make an enjoyable atmosphere. Off the dining area is a small den which has a pullout sofa (single size bed) and a small office space. Upstairs is a loft with a queen size futon mattress. The second full bath is just off the den.
The cabin is on forty wooded acres, with a small meadow where the cabin is located. A long private driveway winds through the trees to get to the cabin. A small guest cottage can be found down a pretty little path and tucked into the trees just a short walk from the main cabin. There is a front porch, a small living area with a wood stove, and a loft with a queen size mattress. There are no bathroom or kitchen facilities for the guest cottage. It make a perfect studio for a writer or artist - and a fun place to 'camp out' for a night.

Directions: The Cottonwood Canyon Retreat is located south of Bozeman about 15 minutes. The Bozeman airport is 35 minutes from the home.
