The First Baptist Church was established in 1949 and the unique log church was building in 1958. Sunday School starts at 9:30am followed by morning worship at 10:45am each Sunday. There is a Fellowship Dinner following the worship service the first Sunday of each month. Wednesday afternoon there is an AWANA program for K-6th graders, as well as a youth group for the teenagers in the evening. Visitors are always welcome.
Directions: First Baptist Church is located at 111 Central Avenue South. Just follow Main Street to Speelmon Street and turn right. Go one block to the stop sign and turn left on Central. Look for the log church building on your right.
