Sadie Creek House sits in the heart of a fourth generation working family ranch along the east slope of the Crazy Mountains. We invite you to come and enjoy privacy and solitude on 50,000 acres of pine covered hills and vast open grasslands. There are magnificent views from every window and the porches, where you can sit and watch the sunrise over Sugarloaf Butte and the sunset over the Crazies. It is a great place for photography or painting, or just getting away from it all and returning for awhile to a simpler lifestyle. Watch birds and wildlife or hike right from the porch. Excellent trails for mountain biking and guided bird tours available and sights for photographing wildlife. Pick the season you prefer, spend a night, a week, or longer. Relax for an afternoon beside the fire. Come and get a Christmas tree in the hills around the house. Spend Christmas in the country with your family or friends. Sadie Creek House offers a fully equipped kitchen, living and dining rooms, fireplace, 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths with comfortable western appeal. Original sheepherder's wagons are also available and will sleep two. They are small and quaint, but we have made them cozy with quilts for the bed and an Indian rug on the floor. We have tents and tipis and have even made them special enough for a wedding night. These can be used for larger groups. For a different unique experience, join our family in daily ranching activities where work revolves around caring for our 1500 head of mother cows and their calves. Visit old homesteads, Native American sites, including a buffalo jump and wiki-up. Fish for brook trout, swim and canoe at our reservoir. Watch team roping and learn to swing a rope at the Fish Creek Arena. Eat at the original ranch cookhouse; we will take a picnic, have an outdoor barbecue or a meal in one of our ranch homes. We are 90 minutes from airports in Billings or Bozeman. Fine dining, shopping, galleries and golf are all 20 minutes to 1 hour away, and Yellowstone National Park is approximately 90 minutes driving time.
