Fantastic food, friendly staff and quaint and cozy environment describe the historic Star Bakery Restaurant and Emporium. Our full service restaurant features some of the best breakfast in all of Montana. Our lunch and dinners along with beer and wine give the diner great values for our dynamite cuisine. The Star Bakery Restaurant first opened in 1865 serving miners a fine loaf of bread, beer and meals. The Star Bakery Restaurant has some bakery items but is a family dining restaurant with an atmosphere preferred by locals and tourists alike. Selections such as the Star Philly and Rueben sandwiches at lunch and our own beer battered shrimp at dinner elevate the Star into fine dining without the expense. Don't forget to try our famous fried pickles they are awesome! John and Patricia Boles welcome you to come and enjoy yourself at the Star Bakery Restaurant and to shop at the Emporium for fudge, candy, ice cream, candles, cards and so much more. The Emporium gift shop displays an old 1900's soda fountain from the Lockwood Pharmacy in Fort Benton, Montana and old candy jars.
