Come to relax, read, sit in the hot tub or sauna, explore the 440 acre park-like ranch with lots of trails for hiking, biking, cross country skiing and great sites for wildlife. Marvel at the endless variety of rock formations formed by the boulder batholith.
The lodge completed in September 2001 features log construction, which is 14 inches diameter, and three large stone fireplaces, blaze slate floors, spectacular views, and 32-foot high ceilings with huge exposed scissor trusses. A large living area with a fireplace and 61-inch television is available for your relaxation. A hot tub on an outside deck, sauna and well equipped exercise room are also available. We offer high speed internet access though we recommend that guests us it only for pleasure.
There are 4 guest rooms, each with its own unique theme and view. Guests all enjoy their own private baths, use of mini fridge and microwave. Also hot tub, sauna and exercise room. Massages are available to our guests for an additional charge. A wonderful way to wind down from a busy day or wake up to a new one.
In addition to relaxing, rejuvenating stay with no particular purpose, Elkhorn View is an excellent venue for weddings, banquets, retreats, reunions, socials, receptions, anniversary parties or holiday parties.
Directions: Our B&B is 10 miles south of Helena, off I-15 at Montana City exit. Turn right and proceed 3 miles up Jackson Creek, toward Howard Beer Road on the left side. Two miles up to the lodge. Stay right.
