Come visit the perfect family getaway in the mountains of west central Montana. The Montana Sunrise Lodge is comfortably furnished and includes laundry facilities and a gas barbecue grill on the deck. Our lodge is well stocked with all bed, bath and kitchen linens as well as laundry, dish and hand soaps. You just bring your gear and the groceries! Or, at your request we will gladly stock the lodge with groceries before you arrive or arrange for additional housekeeping. A complimentary end-of-stay cleaning is included and weekly housekeeping service is customary for longer visits.

Amenities include 7 spacious bedrooms. Four bedrooms are upstairs with queen beds. One of these has a private bath, and the other 3 share 2 large baths. There are also 3 bedrooms downstairs with i large bathroom. One of the downstairs bedrooms has 2 twin beds, one has a queen bed and the other has a king size bed and twin bed. These three bedrooms share one large bath. There is a spacious living area with 37-inch satellite TV, DVD, VCR, stereo and over 70 DVDs and VHS movies, plus a huge library of books and games. We have a modern fully equipped kitchen, a sunroom, wood stove and more.
The Lodge is a great place to have wedding receptions, family reunions, scrapbookers and quilters; the two dining tables can seat up to 16 people with ease. Also a great place for your deer and elk hunting vacation, or try fishing in the many nearby mountain streams or reservoirs for rainbow, cutthroat, or brook trout. If snowmobiling is your fancy, the lodge is located in the middle of over 325 miles of trails in the Lewis and Clark National Forest for you to explore. Showdown Ski Resort and a cross country ski area are only 8 miles away. Endless forest for hiking or mountain biking just out the door. At the end of the road and bordering the National Forest, we are your private getaway.
Directions: The Montana Sunrise Lodge is located along the original scenic route between Yellowstone National Park and Glacier National Park on US Highway 89. We are 25 miles north of White Sulphur Springs at mile marker 20.9, nestled in the Little Belt Mountains of the Lewis & Clark National Forest. The lodge is 8 miles south of Showdown Ski Area and Kings Hill, offering both downhill and cross-country skiing. The Kings Hill Winter Recreation Area includes the Silver Crest Nordic trail system with two warming huts and over 325 miles of groomed snowmobile trails. The Little Belt Mountains offer excellent elk and mule deer hunting, plus trout fishing. From the Great Falls airport, we are 80 miles southeast; from the Helena airport we are 100 miles east and from the Bozeman airport we are 110 miles northeast.
