The living/dining area is beautifully furnished, and includes a large stone fireplace, a 12' handcrafted log plank bar, a dining table seating 8, and a nicely detailed open kitchen. If you need a room to all gather, dine, tell stories, or silently enjoy the cracking of an evening fire, this is the best there is. The basement family room has comfortable furnishings, satellite TV and VCR, a wet bar, and card table. This room opens to a stone patio and overlooks Big Timber Creek. The house has five bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The master bedroom includes a beautiful cedar queen sized bed and matching dressers. A full bathroom with claw-foot tub/shower complete this suite. A private deck overlooks Big Timber Creek. The main level has one additional bedroom (queen bed), and another full bath. The daylight basement has two additional bedrooms with queen beds, and a third with two twin beds. The third full bath is located in the basement adjacent to the family room. The house has a washer and dryer on the mail level. A large outdoor deck is fully furnished and includes a gas grill.

Hiking, mountain biking, fishing and all that the Crazy Mountains and surrounding mountain ranges have to offer is nearby. A forest service trailhead providing direct access to high mountain lakes and magnificent mountain peaks is a 4 miles up the road. Fishing the Yellowstone, Gallatin or Madison can all be accomplished either on your own or through the many outfitters available in Big Timber, Bozeman or Livingston. Horseback riding is also available through outfitters in the area. Day trips may include trips to Yellowstone National Park, the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness, the Boulder River or Beartooth Highway. Don't rule out a winter visit either as the area provides excellent cross-country skiing opportunities.

Directions: Big Timber Creek Lodge is located about 8 miles north of Big Timber along Highway 191, and an additional 8 miles northwest on County Roads. With Big Timber Creek meandering through the back yard, the lodge sits at the mouth of Big Timber Canyon on the east slope of the Crazy Mountains. Big Timber is about 70 miles (by interstate) from the nearest airports located in Bozeman or Billings.
