Serving Missoula and surrounding areas, Missoula Public Library (MPL) provides educational, informational and cultural resources to the entire community. The Library's excellent staff assists patrons in utilizing the historic materials in the Montana Room as well as all other library collections including audio books, videos, best sellers, popular materials, music, children's and young adult's materials, genealogy, research and more.During the summer of 2003, a special Smithsonian exhibit , 'Listening to the Prairie', will be on display.
