The motel is nestled in a valley close to the Kootenai River between two mountain ranges with an abundance of wildlife and numerous miles of maintained forested roads. The motel is about 15 miles from Libby (the next closest town) on the east and 30 miles from Bonners Ferry, Idaho on the west. The Canadian Port of Entry is a little over 50 miles.
