Secluded along Otter Creek, in full view of the majestic Crazy Mountains and situated in the middle of an historic 6000+acre cattle, horse and sheep ranch, there is a comfortable hand-built log cabin with handmade pine furniture for 1-2 guests willing to share a cabin. It is quiet, in lovely country and easily accessible. Otter Creek runs through 4 miles of the ranch so there's plenty of fishing. Horseback riding, birding, wild flower trips, wild life viewing (elk, deer, antelope, coyotes, bear and a few wolves), photography, boat fishing and swimming at the reservoir, 4x4 tours, both rifle and archery hunting in season with the necessary license, hiking and cross country skiing the foothills of the Crazies and into the mountains and a chance to attend the first Lutheran Church in Montana are all part of the life, as are the regular, seasonal ranch activities. Those who want to bring their own horses are welcome to do so. There is lots of country to ride and maps are provided. The Otter Creek Cabin is perfect summer hideaway for artists and writers to retreat from the world and refresh their hearts, or those who want to fish, hike, swim in the reservoir, view wildlife and in general enjoy the beauty and solitude. It's perfect for cross- country skiing trips during winter, ice-skating and the beauty of miles of untouched snow.
