LouLa's is the second restaurant for Montana friends and restaurateurs Mary Lou Covey and Laura Hansen. They are the Lou and the La that together know what it takes to make a restaurant work. LouLa's is located in the historic Masonic Temple in two large sunny rooms filled with Montana art and photography that changes six times a year. LouLa's feels infused with a curious mix of old and new. LouLa's breakfasts include the standard fare as well as popular originals like lemon stuffed French toast with raspberry sauce or Eggs Benedict with white truffle oil. For lunch try Chicken PoBoy Sandwich or Shaun's Chicken Tenders. Make no mistake, there is a chef from the south somewhere in that kitchen. What makes LouLa's truly unique and so special is their PIE. This little bakery makes from scratch around 3,000 - 4,000 fruit pies each year! They have been nationally recognized for their great homemade pie in American Pie, slices of life (and pie) from America's Backroads, National Public Radio, Victoria Magazine, Local Palate, Chicago Sun Times, Montana Magazine, and Montana Living among many other magazines. LouLa's sister caf‚ is the Spruce Park Caf‚ located in Coram about seven miles from the west entrance of Glacier National park. A truck stop diner with the same great pie. LouLa's serves pie by the slice or by the whole pie home to take home.
