Bitterroot River Retreat is a non-smoking 4-bedroom home nestled on 9 acres on the Bitterroot River, 2 miles south of Darby Montana. We are approximately 63 miles south of Missoula off of Highway 93. With your reservation, whether you are 2 or 8 people, you will enjoy the entire property to yourselves for the duration of your stay.
Recently the entire interior has been remodeled and is comfortably furnished to feel like home. The gourmet kitchen features all stainless appliances and most of the cooking gadgets needed for groups stay. There are four bedrooms, including two masters. One master bedroom is located on the main floor with a private bathroom and private deck. The upstairs master offers a sitting area and private bath. All of the bathrooms are finished in honed marble for an elegant spa like look. The bedding is sumptuous for a wonderful, large trout stream filled sleep. There is a barbecue on the main deck and a horseshoe pit just beyond for those who want to relax and simply enjoy the beautiful and private environment at the retreat.
The laundry room offers a washer and dryer for your use while staying at BRR. There is a television with satellite as well as DVD's for those who wish to watch their favorite show or one of the latest movies. A telephone is available for local calls; long distance calls will need a calling card.
Private fly-fishing is right outside your back door through the meadow, there is also a private launch for those who have their own boats. The accommodations are perfect for those who wish for a two day float trip, starting at either the East or West Fork rivers and taking out at the retreat for a good nights rest and then resuming your fishing excursion in the morning with your boat waiting steps from your back-door. It doesn't get any better than that!
All outfitting services, chef's services and housekeeping can be arranged based upon your needs. Should you desire a personal trainer, private yoga or spa massage while at the retreat we offer that as well. Airport pick up as well as marketing can also be arranged for your convenience but must be arranged in advance. We are extremely customer service orientated, if you need it, we will get it for you so that you can enjoy our serene setting while on vacation.
This would be an ideal location for a movie shoot, plenty of room for catering, craft service and trailers. We invite the movie or commercial industry to shoot their next film or commercial on this property. Call for more details.
