This is Kootenai River Country! We're everything you ever dreamt about Northwestern Montana. Bighorn sheep and cougar roam the mountain slopes. Elk and moose browse the valley floors. Prize rainbow trout swim the wild and beautiful Kootenai River, while bald eagles and osprey soar overhead. We call it home.

We're pleased to provide the Troy Area with this community service, showcasing the beautiful region in which we live, work and play. TACA works with the communities of Troy, Bull Lake, the Yaak and everyone in between to promote visitation and recreation in Montana's great Northwest. We promote the service economy of the area, helping to improve the communities in which we live. And we promote beautification of the manmade landscapes - blending the natural environment with the cultural history which is made every day in these unique surroundings
