Glacier National Park is at your doorstep from this 2200 sq. ft. true log home located approximately 3 miles from the West Entrance. This home is in close proximity to the West Glacier KOA and enjoys use of their amentities. At the same time it is very private with lovely grounds and flower beds. Amenities at the campground include: outdoor heated pool, game room, camp store and gift shop, ice cream shop, and a small cafe offering an outdoor Western BBQ and breakfast in the morning. The main floor has the living room with wood fireplace, dining room, TV/VCR, kitchen, bedroom (queen), bath and laundry facilities. Enjoy the sunshine from the big picture windows which look out onto the wrap-a-round deck w/BBQ. The large loft has a full size bed and twin foldout couch and another deck. On the lower level is a wood stove, and another fold out couch for an additional sleeping area. The Chalet's convenient location makes for easy access to other area activities and attractions. The Village of West Glacier offers restaurants, shops, a mercantile and the 18 hole Glacier View Golf Club with its unparalleled views into the Park. Activities with 3 miles include: river rafting, horseback riding, guided hiking trips in the Park and mountain biking.
Directions: From Glacier International Airport to the Chalet, turn left back onto Highway 2. Turn right at the stoplight and Continue past Columbia Falls, over the Flathead River. Continue past the Big Sky Waterslide. Keep left where Highway 2 intersects Highway 206. The route to the Park is well marked. continue through the little towns of Hungry Horse, Martin City and Coram. there is huge sign for the KOA on the right, 3 miles before you get to West Glacier.
