Wilderness Studio Gallery is located in the Seeley-Swan Valley in western Montana, between the breathtaking peaks of the Mission Mountains and the Bob Marshall Wilderness areas. Self-taught artists, Ed and Marilyn Wolff have honed their skills through study, workshops, and long hours spent at their easels. Watercolor, oil, pencil, and photography are the mediums by which they convey their deep feeling for the 'last best place.' Since retiring in 1998, they have been painting full time. Ed and Marilyn's works are in the homes of collectors across the United States. They have been juried into many prestigious art shows, and have won best of show on several occasions. Ed's photos of wildlife and landscapes have been published in many national periodicals and textbooks. A few specially chosen, nationally ranked professional artists and sculptors also are represented in the Wilderness Studio Gallery. Our mission is to share with you, through our art, an intimate view of the sensational mountain landscapes and the abundant wildlife inhabiting the Big Sky Country.
