The Stevenson's Montana Wild Studio specializes in fine art, bronze, clay and porcelain sculptures as well as pottery. Reared in Montana, Rich has always been an avid outdoorsmen. He specializes in watercolor, oil, acrylics and bronze. Rich is a fisheries scientist who grew up fishing and hunting in the Big Sky Country of Montana. He worked as a fisheries biologist in Montana and Wyoming. In 1980, he changed direction and careers picking up an art palette and fly rod. Rich emphasizes a conservation ethic in outdoor sports. He also wrote and illustrated a weekly newspaper column, the ""Flybox"", 1998 -2000 His wife Marie grew up in the Bozeman area. Her exposure to the outdoors and wildlife coupled with her arts training is reflected in her works. Marie concentrates in the media of clay, bronze, and acrylics.
