The area contains rolling hills, prairie, badlands and pine covered ridges, all being easily accessible in a four-wheel drive vehicle. Robert Dolatta was born and raised on the family ranch located 12 miles north at Terry, Montana. The ranch has been in the family for three generations and has given Robert knowledge if a large hunting area that he has access to. Robert has been a guide for five years and became a licensed outfitter in 1987. Lodging is available in Terry at the local motel or hotel with advanced reservations, which we will be glad to help with. Rates are very reasonable at both places. The motel also has units with kitchenettes. Cafes are within walking distance of both motel and hotel. Transportation will be provides to the ranch or you can be picked up at the hotel or motel. We will provide a noon meal during the day hunts which is included in the fee. The weather will vary during hunting season and can range from a high of 65 degrees to lows of 25 degrees. In early November, snow and cold weather can be expected. Be prepared for cold weather. We can only accommodate a few hunters at a time, so it is important to book early. Deer and antelope seasons overlap for two weeks, so if you are interested in combinations hunts, it is again important to book early. We request a 1/3 deposit at booking time and the remainder of the fee at the beginning of the hunt. This is payable in cash, traveler's checks or cashier's checks.
