Flat Iron Outfitting offers the summer visitor a variety of high mountain lakes for some great trout fishing! Most are a 2 hour hike through some of the prettiest country to be found in Montana. If fishing isn't your pleasure, the day can be spent hiking and taking photographs. We offer great hunting for elk, bear and mountain lion hunts on the Lolo National Forest. We also have a private ranch lease that offers some of the best whitetail hunting in western Montana.
Directions: Flat Iron Outfitting is located 3 miles west of Thompson Falls. Turn right off Highway 200 onto Blueslide Road and follow golf course signs. After passing under the Golf Course/Flat Iron Outfitting archway we are the only house on the right.
