Grasshopper Creek Campground is located in the Lewis and Clark National Forest in the Castle Mountains at an elevation of 5700 feet. Grasshopper Creek flows through the campground with sites among thick stand of conifers; the creek can be heard throughout campground. There are 12 campsites and a few sites look out onto grassy hillsides. Interior road is a tear drop shape making it difficult for some RVs to circle the campground. There are raspberry bushes all over the campground. Directions: From White Sulphur Springs, take US Higway 12 east 6.4 miles to Access sign (Forest Road 211). Turn right at sign onto Forest Road 211 (dirt) and go 4 miles to T intersection. Turn right and go 0.2 miles to campground.
