Kintla Lake Campground is located in Glacier National Park in northwest Montana near the Canadian border. At an elevation of 4,500 feet, the campground encompasses 2 acres. The 7 campsites have primitive facilities with tent and trailer sites; however, access road is unimproved and towed units are not recommended. The maximum recommended trailer length for the area is 18 feet. Boat access to Kintla Lake is nearby. Fishing, swimming, and hiking the backcounty trails may also be enjoyed at Kintla Lake Campground. Primitive camping is allowed until closed by snow. Please limit your stay to 7 days. You will be asked to pay a small fee for the use of this campground. Directions: Kintla Lake Campground is located at the foot of Kintla Lake in the northwest corner of the park, 15 miles north of Polebridge on North Fork Road.
