Sprague Creek Campground is located on the west side of Glacier National Park in northwest Montana. At an elevation of 3,500 feet, the campground encompasses 3 acres. It is set in a beautiful location in a mature cedar forest on the east shore of Lake McDonald. The campground has 25 camp sites and is designated tent camping only with basic facilties. Towed units are not permitted. Fishing, swimming, and backpacking are among the activities to enjoy at Sprague Creek Campground. Although bicycle riding is permitted, some restriction apply for the main roads. Please check with the Park Ranger or Visitor center for additional information. Please limit your stay to 7 days. You will be asked to pay a small fee for the use of this campground. Groceries, laundry facilities and a cafe are available within one mile of the site. The campground frequently fills early in the day.
