St. Mary Campground is located on the east side of Glacier National Park in northwest Montana near the St. Mary entrance to the park. At an elevation of 4,500 feet, the campground encompasses 5 acres. Fishing and swimming access are available within one mile of the site. The campground has basic facilities with 156 specified campsites. There is one paved trail. A store and cafe are conveniently located within one mile of the site. No campsites at St. Mary's Campground are fully accessible to those with disabilities. Primitive camping is available through fall, winter, and spring. The maximum recommended trailer length for the area is 35 feet. Please limit your stay to 7 days. You will be asked to pay a small fee for the use of this campground.

There is a dumpsite for RVs and fresh water is available but no hook-ups. Firewood is sold at the campground store.

Directions: St. Mary Campground is located near the foot of St. Mary Lake, 1 mile west of St. Mary on Going-to-the-Sun Road.
