Skidway Campground is located in Helena National Forest in southwest Montana at an elevation of 5500 feet. Situated on a hillside above the Deep Creek Canyon in birch and spruce timber, the campground provides 13 sites widely spread over 18 acres. Water and restrooms are provided. Pets are welcome. This is a beautiful fall camping spot as well, with fishing spots nearby. The maximum recommended trailer length is 16 feet. Please limit your stay to 14 days.

Directions: Travel 20 miles east of Townsend off US Highway 12 to the Skidway Campground access sign.
