Pete Creek Campground is located on the Kootenai National Forest in northwest Montana at an elevation of 2,990 feet. There are 13 campsites at Pete Creek Campground, and water and restrooms are provided. Located in the uppermost northwest portion of the state, this site can be found approximately 3 miles southeast of the small town of Yaak. It is adjacent to State Highway 508 and a portion of the Yaak River flows next to the campground. Enjoy getting away from it all. View area waterfalls and numerous wildlife species in this remote setting. Pets are welcome, but they must be kept on leashes. The maximum recommended trailer length for the area is 32 feet. Please limit your stay to 14 days. The fee for the use of this campground is $7 a day. Directions: From Troy, take US Highway 2 west for 10 miles to the junction with State Highway 508, approximately 4 miles from the Montana/Idaho border.
