Lewis Lake Campground is located in Yellowstone National Park at an elevation of 7,800 feet. Restrooms and drinking water are provided, and there are 85 designated campsites to choose from. Boating is permitted on Lewis Lake and a launch site is available. Fishing on the lake is also popular. Hiking trails can be found throughout the area. Pets are welcome but must be leashed. They are prohibited on trails in the backcountry and in hydro-thermal areas. Pets are not allowed more then 100 feet from a road or parking area. Leaving a pet unattended and/or tied to an object is prohibited. The maximum recommended trailer length for the area is 45 feet. Please limit your stay to 14 days between June 15 and September 15 and 30 days the rest of the year. You will be required to pay a small daily fee for the use of this campground. Checkout time for all campgrounds is 10:00am.
