Cow Creek Campground is located in Custer National Forest. There are 8 campsites with primitive restrooms. Water is not provided, so remember to bring your own. There is a livestock water tank up the drainage approximately one mile north of the campground. The maximum recommended trailer length for the area is 26 feet. Please limit your stay to 14 days. No fee is required. Directions: Cow Creek Campground is located 30 miles southeast of Ashland on US Highway 212. Turn south on Highway 51 toward Fort Howes. Follow Highway 51 for 21 miles and turn right onto Cow Creek Road (Road 4095 - gravel) 5 miles to campground. Cow Creek Campground Custer National Forest, Ashland, MT 59003
