Goldsmith's Inn, Missoula's original and only riverfront Bed and Breakfast, is located on the north shore of the Clark Fork River across from the University of Montana and four blocks from downtown Missoula. The handsome 1911 red brick home was built by the second president of the University, Clyde Duniway. The inn has been fully restored with seven rooms and suites, some with fireplaces, all with private baths, telephones, and individual heat and air-conditioning. Each room has been decorated for your peace and comfort. A full breakfast is served downstairs in the dining room which has a fireplace and overlooks the river. Relax on the wrap around porch, enjoying the view of the Clark Fork River and the Bitterroot and Sapphire Mountains beyond. Inspected and approved by Montana Bed and Breakfast Association, AAA, Mobil Travel and Fodors. We are the closest lodging to the University of Montana campus. Directions: Goldsmith's Inn is close to the University and downtown Missoula. From I-90 take Exit 105, go through East Broadway Street to Front Street and turn right at the Missoula Chamber of Commerce, go three buildings down to 809 East Front.
