Hilltop House is a quaint stucco house decorated with antiques from the twenties and thirties. It is set in a prairie atmosphere in a small Montana town. Upstairs. one can see for miles looking out over the sunsets of Montana, the sunrises of North Dakota, and the panorama of Canada to the North. In the spring we have the sparrows mating in the fields and the farmers planting their fields. In the summer we have the county fairs, a threshing bee nearby, and the freedom of walking in a safe setting in which one can still leave their doors unlocked. In the fall the baby sparrows start migrating back and stop in our town park. The fields are being harvested, and the deer and pheasant hunting season brings hunters in from all over the United States. We have a complete kitchen and dining room that guests may use. Group rates are available.
Directions: The Hilltop House Bed & Breakfast Inn is located on the border of North Dakota, Montana, and Canada. It is 24 miles east of Plentywood, Montana, and 75 miles northwest of Williston, North Dakota. There is plane and Amtrak Service in Williston, North Dakota.
