The park offers a self-guided nature trail and several informal hiking trails, as well as horse trails and an archery range. There are three scenic overlooks that provide views from Flathead Lake to Big Mountain Ski Area. One of the overlook trails is designed for the mobility impaired. The visitor center has nature and interpretive programs and includes a 100-person-capacity meeting room that can be reserved. A group picnic shelter is also available on a reservation basis. The site covers 186 acres and is 2,959 feet in elevation, The visitor center has flush disabled accessible toilets and the park has vault toilets. The site also has grills/firerings, picnic tables, trash cans, drinking water, and a public phone. Interpretive programs are scheduled throughout the summer and golf courses and museums are located nearby in Kalispell. For non-resident visitors, the day use fee is $5 per vehicle. Directions: Lone Pine State Park is located 4 miles southwest of Kalispell on Foyes Lake Road, then 1 mile east on Lone Pine Road.
