Beaverhead County Museum has been collecting, preserving, displaying and interpreting local history for over 50 years. The museum is housed in a log building complex in downtown Dillon, next door to the Travel Information Center. Our friendly volunteers will greet you at the door and offer a wealth of information. Visitors will see an authentic homesteader's cabin, the first flush toilet outhouse in Dillon, mining and agriculture equipment and can enjoy a picnic in our pavilion. Newest additions to the museum include a Lewis and Clark diorama, a natural history exhibit and a small theater. A one room school house is being restored. Directions: Using the South Exit 62 on I-15, proceed onto Atlantic Street, past the Western Montana College. Turn left on Glendale Street for 4 blocks. Using the North Exit 63 on I-15, proceed to stop sign on Montana Street, turn right and continue straight until you enter downtown. Look for a large, dark brown log building.
