The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Wildlife Visitor Center features an impressive display of world record elk, life-size mounts of many other North American animals, and educational displays about elk and other wildlife. The Visitor Center also features a beautiful wildlife art gallery and a gift shop with many hand crafted and Montana-made creations. Don't miss the Lewis and Clark exhibit chronicling the explorer's dependence on elk and other wildlife. The public is welcome and admission is free. Open year round.

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is an international, nonprofit conservation organization dedicated to ensuring the future of elk, other wildlife and their habitat. Since its inception in 1984, the Foundation's more than 138,000 members and volunteers have completed over 4,100 projects to conserve and enhance more than 4.1 million acres of key wildlife habitat across North America.

From US 93 south Missoula, head north on Reserve Street to West Broadway, turn right on West Broadway and go one mile, look for the big bronze elk on the right
