Sunday worship is at 11:45am. First Episcopal Church in Montana organized in April 1867 by the people of Virginia City. The first structure was built of wood and consecrated in 1868. Fire destroyed it and was rebuilt on the same site in 1902 with the present structure of native gray granite. The current church was built by Mary B. Elling in memory of her late husband Henry Elling and consecrated in 1904. Visitors welcome. Directions: St. Paul's Episcopal Church is located on Idaho Street, which is one block above the main street. Turn uphill by the county courthouse, which is on (main) Wallace.
