Experience the lure of Yellowstone National Park. Located in the historic Union Pacific Depot at West Yellowstone. The museum showcases the history of visitation and transportation to our nations first national park. The museum contains displays on stage coach and railroad companies that brought tens of thousands of visitors to the park; wildlife of the area, and the 'Fires of 88'. Open daily from Memorial Day weekend through the middle of October. Family and group rates available. Directions: The Yellowstone Historic Center is located two blocks west of the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park in the town of West Yellowstone. It is located on the south side of Yellowstone Avenue in the historic Union Pacific Depot, at the corner of Canyon Street and Yellowstone Avenue.
