City Museum is housed in the old Tribal Jail built around 1920, now on the historic register. Frontier and Indian collections are displayed in the cells. We are open daily from June 1st to Labor Day, 11:00am - 5:00pm.Emphasis is on the intricate beadwork and quilt work of our Sioux - Assiniboine people, which is also for sale. Admission is free.
Directions: Located on the US Highway 2, across the street from the 'Greets the Dawn' Fort Peck Community College Building and the Tribal Museum. A paddle boat is located on the grounds close to our museum, and the Fort Peck Community College's new building 'Titoka Tibi' is slightly south of us.
